Fire Enamel Tassilo Chalice and Paten-EW2332

Fire enameled version of the eighth century Tassilo chalice, executed in cloisonné fire enamel, solid 925 sterling silver, 24 K gold lined cup. Represents the Pantocrator and the Four Evangelists as well as an inscription in Latin on the base "Per Ipsum, Cum Ipso, In Ipso" (For Him, With Him, In Him). Includes 6 1/2" paten.

8" high x 4 1/2" cup diameter. Holds 20 oz.
