Since the 1990 publication of the classic first edition of The Rites of the Catholic Church from Liturgical Press, all of these texts have been re-translated or otherwise updated, in accordance with the Church's liturgical translation guidelines, with the exception of The Order of Christian Funerals. The Order of Christian Funerals, while not re-translated, has been updated in this edition to include the language of The Roman Missal, Third Edition.
