Tassilo Chalice and Paten-EW2230

This unique chalice is a variation of the Tasilo chalice that features a wider cup and base. The original Tassilo chalice can be traced back to Duke Tassilo III of Bavaria, Germany, in the eighth century. The figures around the cup include Christ and the four Evangelists, and the chalice is crafted with intricate symmetrical designs throughout. The chalice is finished in two tone gold and silver. Includes a matching paten.

7 3/8" high x 5 1/8" cup diameter.
