Chalice and Paten-EW2440

This rich chalice is crafted in the Gothic style, which flourished during the twelfth century and featured more slender and stylized forms, giving a more spiritual and closer version of God. The base features beautiful engraved medallions showing the Four Evangelists, The Crucifixion, and the Blessed Mother finished in silver plate with contrasting gold plated backgrounds. The delicate cord around each medallion is matched on the node and finely engraved stem. The cup is lightly embossed and is engraved with the words "Calicem Salutaris Accipiam Et Nomen Domini Invocabo." Includes a 6 1/4" scale paten with ring.

8 3/4" high x 4 7/8" cup diameter. Holds 14 oz.
