This brass gold plated ciboria is crafted in the Gothic style, which flourished during the twelfth century and featured more slender and stylized forms, giving a more spiritual and closer version of God. The ciboria features intricate Gothic ornamentation throughout. The base is engraved with six delicate medallions depicting the Crucifixion, Salvation symbol, Martyrdom of Isaac, Melchizedek Ordination, the Mana, and Pascal Lamb.
