This chalice represents the smooth lines of the Florentine style which developed in Florence, Italy during the first part of the fifteenth century, within the great Renaissance period. Depicting the Four Evangelists and symbols around the cup, this filigree fire enameled chalice and paten is executed in 925 sterling silver, gold lined. A masterful job of hand engraving highlights the enamel lines, and the construction of the chalice represents the highest form of craftsmanship. Includes a matching 6 1/4" paten.

The "Visigoth", a rich version of a medieval chalice, features a striking design of red enamel highlighted by exquisite Celtic designs and adorned with deep red and green cabouchons. Includes a matching 6 11/16" dish paten.

This magnificent chalice is crafted in the Gothic style, which flourished during the twelfth century and featured more slender and stylized forms, giving a more spiritual and closer version of God. This piece is richly handcrafted with classic Gothic designs engraved on the base, node, collar, and cup, and featuring delicate filigree open work around the edge of the base. Includes a 6 1/4" dish paten with a simple Gothic cross.
