Chalice and Paten with Ring-EW2475

This rich chalice is crafted in the Gothic style, which flourished during the twelfth century and featured more slender and stylized forms, giving a more spiritual and closer version of God. The perfectly balanced and refined design of this piece stands out among other taller chalices. Deep relief chiseling adorns the base, node, and outer cup, with embossed and engraved medallions of the Four Evangelists on the base. Includes a 6 1/4" scale paten with ring.
