This chiselled Tasilo chalice is an accurate replica of the original Tassilo chalice, which can be traced back to Duke Tassilo III of Bavaria, Germany, in the eighth century. The figures around the cup include Christ and the four Evangelists, and the chalice is crafted with intricate symmetrical designs throughout. The chalice is sterling silver and does not include a paten.
