Chalice and Paten-EW2465
This rich chalice is crafted in the Gothic style, which flourished during the twelfth century and featured more slender and stylized forms, giving a more spiritual and closer version of God. This masterpiece features the Stations of the Cross on its cup and base. The heptagonal construction on all its elements to represent each of the fourteen Stations is a faithful example of the silversmiths’ ability. Each panel is finely engraved and finished in slightly oxidized silver plate contrasting with the gold plated embossed ornamentation on the cup, base, and spectacular seven-pointed node. Includes a 6 1/4" scale paten with ring.
9 5/8" high x 4 1/16" cup diameter. Holds 14 oz.
Available in inner cup sterling silver or all sterling silver. Both options are gold plated throughout.
